- Letter 1: 2 April 1974. Walter Behrens to Schachermeyr, expressing his admiration for Schachermeyer's book "Alexander der Große".
- Letter 2: 25 June 1973. Letter in English from E. Badian to Schachermeyr, asking for permission to reuse colour photographs from "Alexander der Große" in his own entry on Alexander in the Cambridge History of Iran.
- Letter 3: 6 June 1973. Letter from Hans Ulrich Instinsky to Schachermeyr, in which he expresses his admiration for "Alexander der Große" and recommends a Dutch dissertation about secrecy and Alexander.
- Letter 4: 7 February 73. Letter from Rudolf Schottlaender to Schachermeyr. Schottlaender admires "Alexander der Große" but offers some criticism on the way Schachermeyr portrays Alexander's wish for Greek culture in his entire empire.
- Copy of a letter: 29 January 73. Copy of a letter from Franz Altheim to Schachermeyr. He praises "Alexander der Große" in detail, in both form and content. The original of this letter is included in Coll-2106/1.
