Letter in English from John Henry Lorimer to "Lorry" (Hannah Cassels im Thurn (née Lorimer)). Gibbs family left to go to Oxford, so happy to receive letter and hunted with Sir Everard im Thurn (Louise's future husband) this morning. "I have a good large sitting room-dining room and the house with a north light-nicely furnished, and a dingy little bed worn opening off it-with folding doors, I fear on examination not ever clean!" Wants to know from the Professor if the family he's with are "VERY high church" because she never goes out for meals and Mr Gibbs is "hand in glove with the lady superior"
