Scope and Contents
Folder of typewritten poetry by Roddy Lumsden, including poems entitled "Jaqueline", "Anti-Chaos Eikons", "Some Notes on a Death", "Concertina", "State of Head", "Cavoli Riscaldi", and many more. Also includes a "What Happens Next" prospectus for events happening in October [no year], a handwritten text in prose, a "glossary" of terms used by Lumsden addressed to his publishers, and a newspaper page (The Herald, 14 June 1994) kept for an article by Sara Villiers entitled "Writers branch out and join the club" about the Apostolic Club, the name chosen by photographer Neil Riley for his stylised portraits of young writers living in Scotland, which were exhibited in Edinburgh's Out of the Blue gallery in 1994.
