Pasted next to it is a newspaper clipping from The Scottish Field entitled "A Characteristic Portrait of Sir Walter Scott", dated April 1918, starting: "Mr Andrew Elliot, bookseller and publisher, Edinburgh, has just handed over to the custody of the Advocates' Library an enlarged and framed photograph of Sir Walter Scott, from a sketch made in court by the Late Robert Scott Monctrieff, advocate." The clipping includes a reproduction of said portrait.
