Correspondence. From file: 'Letters of Hanna Kohlbrugge (1911-1999) whom Irene met at Crosby Hall, London, in 1946-47. She was later Professor of Persian and Islamic studies at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands. Her sister Hebe (1914-2016), a theologian, had been a important figure in the Dutch resistance.'
