Comprises administrative, financial and estates records of ABRO, as well as reports, publications and press cuttings. There is also a large amount of research data, including the working papers of the scientist St Clair Taylor.

Biographical / Historical
Blythbank farm at West Linton in the Scottish Borders, became occupied by ABRO in November 1950. Initially its chief function was to accommodate the surplus of twin cattle from Cold Norton farm, but it was also used for crossbreeding experiments with sheep. Later, a hostel on the estate was brought into use. The farm had three steadings housing different enterprises and facilities.
