Biographical / Historical
Hamilton Hall farm, West Linton, Peeblesshire, was purchased by ABRO in 1980. The farm lay to the east of Blythbank farm, also owned by ABRO, and allowed for an expansion of farm and research staff and animal breeding activities. The purchase was partly financed by the sale of another ABRO farm, Broughton Knowe in Biggar, Peeblesshire. Hamilton Hall was sold by the ARC in 1981.
