Scope and Contents
Contains correspondence chiefly concerning the Bureau's renting of accommodation from ABRO (and later IAPGR). Also contains some general correspondence between R.G. White and J.P. Maule concerning Animal Breeding Abstracts and other publications as well as requests for scientific information.

Biographical / Historical
The Imperial (later the Commonwealth) Bureau of Animal Genetics was established in 1930 to disseminate information through reviews and bibliographies, with Animal Breeding Abstracts being first published in 1933. The Bureau was originally housed within the Institute of Animal Genetics Buildings on the King's Buildings site.
