This six-week selection experiment was established to provide lines of mice for the investigation of growth. The mice used were from the C57BL/6J and DBA/2J ibred strains (the X lines). The lines were replicated six times for large weight and six times for small weight, with one control line. Scientists involved in this experiment were Grahame Bulfield and Caroline Sinnett-Smith.
