Biographical / Historical
When IAPGR was formed in 1986, the nutrition, biochemistry, pathology programmes of the PRC became incorporated into the Institute of Grassland and Animal Production (IGAP). The IGAP Poultry Department remained on the former PRC site and was incorporated into IAPGR in 1990 following the creation of the Institute of Grassland and Environmental Research (which ultimately transferred to Aberystwyth University in April 2008).
