Biographical / Historical
While posted with the British Army in India, during World War II, Percy Johnson-Marshall was General Secretary to the Service Arts and Technical Organization (SATO) from 1943 until his repatriation in 1945. One of his duties was the administration of the organisation. He kept a number of files concerning this, some in a numbered series and the remainder unnumbered. The files described in this series are those which have been recovered.
