City planning maps, plans and studies by Percy Johnson-Marshall, undertaken whilst a student studying for the Certificate in Civic Design at the University of Liverpool, for his final project entitled "Newcastle-under-Lyme planning project". This project was submitted as the Town Planning Institute final exam. There are 4 plans: one detail (48cm x 48cm), one land-use plan, overlaid on an Ordnance Survey 6 inch to 1 mile plan with accompanying legend, and a blank Ordnance Survey plan at 6 inches to 1 mile.

The typescript written report on the project, a covering declaration concerning authorship and a letter from the University of Liverpool requesting registration fees are included.
