Biographical / Historical
The site at Salisbury Green in Edinburgh was donated to the University of Edinburgh by Sir Donald Pollock in 1943. From 1955 it has been in a more-or-less permanent state of development. From 1949-1976 the University's architect site consultant was Sir William Kininmonth, of Rowand Anderson & Kininmonth.
