Edinburgh South Side District Plan: independent reports and opinions, 1968-1974
File
Identifier: PJM/PJMA/EUD/C/2.2
Scope and Contents
Two independently published reports concerning planned redevelopment of Edinburgh's south side district. These focus on objections to the planned clearance of the area and make suggestions for less radical development proposals. A note by the president of the Nicolson Street Trader's Association, petitioning against demolition of commercial properties in the area, and information concerning a press conference are included with the publications.
A number of press clippings, news sheets and information leaflets from local organisations expressing opposition to the demolition plans are included along with a history of Edinburgh's south side
