Polished leather over boards with blind tooled borders. Gilt stamped shield with "Academ Edinburg Guil Drummond Ab Hawthornden D.D.Q" in centre of front cover and gilt stamped winged horse over laurel wreath with "Hos Gloria Reddit Honores" in centre of back cover. Red morocco title label on spine.
