Immediate Source of Acquisition

Items with the Dc and Dk prefixed shelfmarks were already in the Library by 1936 and probably arrived considerably earlier. MS.2648 was purchased in 1985 from Bloomsbury Rare Books. As such, this collection has been brought together artificially, with items having different provenances.

Further Mackie items can be found within the Laing Collection: La.II.237, La.III.558 and La.III.628.
