Scope and Contents
This collection consists of miscellaneous undergraduate materials from 1978-82 belonging to Magnus Grimond, relating to his studies in law and history. Grimond studied at Edinburgh University between 1978 and 1982, although 1980/81 was spent at the University of Pennsylvania.

Subsequent accrual donated in November 2018 (SC-Acc-2018-0203): Essays, certificates, booklets and membership cards relating to Magnus Grimond's time as a student at Edinburgh University in the 1980s. Includes membership cards for student clubs, programme for the Edinburgh University Historical Society, prospectus, leaflets related to the 'Yes for Scotland' campaign for the referendum on 1 March 1979, a copy of the Scotland Act 1978, typed essays on 'Scotland and Scandinavia', Scottish History, and European history dated 1979-82, a 1981 syllabus and some correspondence and leaflets from the University of Pennsylvania where Grimond studied one year, and one folder of Scottish Certificate of Education exam papers.
