Content Description
This fonds consists of friendly letters and cards from Edwin and Willa Muir to their wartime lodgers Morley and Flora Jamieson: an autograph letter signed from Edwin and Willa to Flora, two autograph letters signed from Willa to Morley and Flora, a carbon-copy typed letter from Edwin to Morley and Flora, a Christmas autograph correspondence card signed from Willa to the Jamiesons' dog Jinty, and a Christmas autograph picture postcard signed from Willa. The letters were sent from Edinburgh, Ayton (Berwickshire), Rome, Prague and London, from the 4th of July 1944, to December 1963.
