Green morocco. Gilt, floral, thistle design. Gold edge decoration. Banded spine. Marbled front and end paper. Title on cover: "Statues of the Most Ancient & Noble Order of the Thistle." Emblem with motto of Order of the Garter on front cover and initials "BA".
