Scope and Contents

This is a warrant signed by King William III, for a ratification and new gift of the rents and dues of the Chapel Royal in Scotland, with the Deanery, Subdeanery, etc., in favour of Mr. William Carstairs. 28 February 1693/4. Signed: "Tweeddale, Cassillis, Linlithgow, Melvill P.F., Leven, Tarbet, Beilhaven, Ad. Cockburne, J. Johnstoun, Ja. Steuart."
