Journal of a journey to Dresden from 29 August to 7 October 1820, unknown author. Contains printed material. The object of the journey was possibly legal business, vid f.16v: "proof not begun owing to a difficulty in getting the witnesses examined." The writer mentions a meeting with Sir William Hamilton and James Mackenzie at Hamburg, f. 5r, f. 14v. Harwich - Hamburg - Berlin - Potsdam - Wittenberg - Meissen - Dresden.

Kaisar-I-Hind Medal - For Public Service in India
1 x Kaisar-i-Hind Gold Medal, George V - may be 1st variety, 1st class - together with 1 x example of the Miniature version of the Kaisar-i-Hind Gold Medal. Both are contained in a presentation case created by Garrard and Co. Ltd. of Albemarle St., London. Garrard was the Crown Jeweller charged with the upkeep of the British Crown Jewels, from 1843 to 2007.

L. C. Wood Collection (fl. 1920-1943)
The collection consists of 69 colour slides (5 cm x 5cm) with a full commentary for a lantern talk entitled A preaching walk through the Ningsia district given by Wood in England depicting scenes of life in China, church and mission work and missionaries and church leaders; and an album of 20 coloured photographs of scenes in Beijing.

Lantern slides representing sporting events
This is a collection of thirty lantern slides (8.5 cm sq.) which cover a number of training style poses and sporting/athletic events such as running, shot put throw, high jump, rope pulling, and hurdles. There is no accompanying description, but they appear to be connected with the University of Edinburgh. The Scottish athlete Eric Liddell, who studied at the University in 1920-1924, appears in some of them.
