Scope and Contents
Black and white line drawing, showing the side profile of a head and detail of a brain with a tumour undergoing a procedure. Sagittal view of the head depicting a cerebellar tumour causing hydrocephalus of the lateral and third ventricles because of cerebral aqueduct compression. A drain has been placed into the posterior horn of the lateral ventricle to drain CSF and reduce the mass effect exerted on surrounding brain tissue. Annotated on back, although part of note cut off at edge, "too large [incomplete] too pinched by tonsil [incomplete] vent too high."
