Scope and Contents

Correspondence sent and received by the Scottish Homosexual Rights Group (SHRG) including complaints made against a member, letters relating to the Gay Centre’s bookshop, the use of the Centre for a “TV/TS” group, registration for GayFest, arrangements for a Christmas hypermarket, and resignation letters from members.

TV is an abbreviated form of the historical term transvestite used to describe individuals who wear clothes associated with a gender other than their gender assigned at birth.

TS is an abbreviated form of the term transsexual used to describe individuals whose gender identity is different from their assigned sex at birth.
