Report from Sweden's Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, 1984

 File
Identifier: GD61/10/1/18

Scope and Contents

A copy of a report from Sweden's Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. In January 1978, the Swedish Government decided to appoint a parliamentary commission to investigate the situation for lesbians and gay people in Sweden. The task given to the commission was to propose measures to abolish remaining discrimination against lesbians and gay people and to counteract prejudice.

A handwritten note on the cover of the report writes that this is a copy for Switchboards, and that one day they will want the UK Government to take on a similar commission.
