Biographical / Historical

The Board of Studies was set up by the Medical Education Committee of the South-Eastern Regional Hospital Board. Each Board was to include all those engaged in clinical teaching and be responsible for the allocation of beds for research purposes and the appointment, transfer and training of suitable personnel. Dr Robertson had these papers in her capacity as Secretary to the Board. Originally in an envelope with the label ‘Board of Studies in Psychiatry – Dr E Robertson’. They were not arranged in date order and have been kept as found. The envelope also contained a separate smaller envelope of papers relating to appointments which has been numbered separately.
