Biographical / Historical
Jeanie McGill Golder (later Jeanie Cooper), 1909 - 1990, was a Fever Nurse, qualifying from the City Hospital, Edinburgh, in 1930. She started her training in August 1927. Jeanie was described in her nurse training record as 'a good nurse' (LHB23/18/9). Although she did not pass her General Nursing Council examinations, she stayed on at the City Hospital as an office Night Duty Assistant after qualification.
