Journals of visits made by the Ladies' Association of Edinburgh City Mission in Districts 14 and 15 [Cannongate area]. Volume 1 includes list of names of Association members on the front flyleaf.

All volumes include an extract from the Minutes of Committee, 16 December, 1834, regarding the confidentiality of the contents. All volumes also include a note regarding the logistics of a shared journal on the front flyleaf. In volumes 1 and 2 it is written directly onto the flyleaf, and in volumes 3 and 4 an insert is adhered to the front flyleaf with wax.
