Scope and Contents
In two parts:
MS GUT 1.1. One notebook containing four sermons preached by William Guthrie, Minister of Fenwick. Volume is a thin paper-wrapped notebook, with 36 pages in a clear secretary hand. Previously owned by historian Robert Wodrow:
Page 1 - Mark 4:38
Page 11 - Psalms 119:120
Page 25 - Matthew 15:22
Page 30 Matthew 15:26
MS GUT 1.2. Notes of sermons in 7 volumes. The previous catalogue states that this is a transcript of Guthrie's own manuscript, however the scribe has faithfully transcribed gathering signatures indicative of a printed book.
