Title page reads:

Volume contains 357 numbered leaves. The hand is very consistent and neat throughout. On a rear flyleaf, there's a pencil note "ou est mon chapeau" [where is my hat].
Spine title reads "Law Notes. 2". Front outer board inscribed "Francis Steel" in ink.
