"A pioneer of modern humanism. Ludwig Feuerbach and the validity of religious experience." Folio, 291 pages, split into 8 pages of frontmatter, 279 numbered pages, followed by 4 numbered pages of works cited.
This item is a draft of McClymont's doctoral thesis. The volume is a springback binder. Typscript text is annotated in both ink and pencil.
MS MCC 1.2:
"A pioneer of modern humanism. Ludwig Feuerbach and the validity of religious experience". Quarto, 221 pages, split into 6 pages of frontmatter, 193 numbered pages, 19 pages of additional notes, and 3 pages of works cited.
This item is condensed from McClymont's longer thesis. Signed and dated 9 February 1951 on the front flyleaf, but manuscript note on the title page indicates that the work was completed in 1950, and later presented with the author's compliments. The volume appears a bound book, but pages within are typescript. Annotations in pen are present throughout.
