This is a booklet containing watercolour sketches of Scottish landscapes by Hilda Burnet Salvesen (later Smith), daughter of Ted Salvesen, and granddaughter of founder Salve Christian Frederik Salvesen, founder of Christian Salvesen Ltd. Most sketches are captioned and dated from 3rd August 1906 to August 1908, which means Hilda would have been between 11 and 13 years old.
