"The unsatisfactory head of a thoroughly unsatisfactory family. A farm worker. He had a "stramash" with his wife and she left him, he sold up the furniture. She has now returned to him and they only have one bed, one chair, one cup, one pan etc. Wife seems to be like him. Dr wanted her sterilised but her husband at the last minute would not sign the form."
