Scope Note: A personality disorder whose essential feature is a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood. The individual must be at least age 18 and must have a history of some symptoms of CONDUCT DISORDER before age 15. (From DSM-IV, 1994)

"This man was in CR, diagnosis: React. Dep. He was in the army, was P.O.W for 5 years. Formerly worked in Glasgow docks. Now lorry driving. Still complaining that everything goes black, has dizzy turns. Unsatisfactory sort of character. Separated from his wife before the war but they tried to make it up on his return from Germany, they have terrible rows. He drinks a good deal. PAO: wife is supposed to nag him."
