It is extensive and consists mainly of documents and papers, including those on: Oxfam; Christian Aid; Somali non-governmental organisations; NE Kenya massacre; EC related papers and documents; African rights; human rights; arms trade; ACP Lome; and the UN. There are also various newsletters, journals, reprints, magazines, books and videos, and newspaper cuttings.

Four photographs of the wild Somali ass which is 'distinguished by the absence of a distinct shoulder stripe and by the presence of very distinct leg markings. It is probably one of the asses which has been domesticated.'
