Scope and Contents Song entitled 'Uistean mhic Illeaspa Chalum' probably collected from Mary MacDonald, aged about 28 years, Miùghlaigh/Mingulay beginning 'S Minig a thachra riut eir sheallach, Fraochan feirge eir a mhalai'. The song is composed of forty-one lines. The text contains some amendments and has been scored through in ink with 'B[ook] [-] P[age] [-] Trans[cribed] June 16 1869 A[lexander] A[rchibald] C[armichael]' written transversely across it.
