Two stories about cows concealing their calves collected from Niall Mac Iain Bhain [Neil MacNeil] Bruarnish, Barra [Bruairnis/Bruernish, Barraigh]. The first story involves Neil and the second involves 'Ruaraidh Ban' or 'Ruaraidh Lachlain', when he was herding at Vaslan, Eoligarry [Vaslain, Eòlaigearraidh].
