Note probably collected from Christina Campbell née Macintyre, Lios Mòr/Lismore Earra, Ghàidheal/Argyllshire that Sir Duncan Campbell offered Alastair MacColl the rent on Achnacrois [Achadh na Croise/Achnacroish, Lios Mòr/Lismore] at 15 pounds a year as long as water ran in Allt Mhuilinn Mhic Aidh. Allt Mhuilinn Mhic Aidh is noted as running between Bailnangown [Baile na Gobhann/Balnagown] and Achnacrois. Sir Duncan's trousers and coat are described.

Note probably collected from Christina Campbell née Macintyre, Lios Mòr/Lismore Earra, Ghàidheal/Argyllshire that Cill[e] an t-Suidhe [Achadh na Croise/Achnacroish, Lios Mòr/Lismore] was used to bury people from the mainland as wolves had been digging up graves and bodies. Carmichael notes that it is 'the burial place of Bail-an righ & Bearigdunn - Dun val-a-rì' [possibly Baile nan Gobhann/Balnagown].

Notes on the family of Gilleaspa Caimbeul [Archibald Campbell], who rented all of Fiart [Lios Mòr/Lismore, Earra Ghàidheal/Argyllshire], including that one brother was a collector of customs in Greenock [Renfrewshire], the other was his baillie at Fiart before coming to Balnangoan [Baile nan Gobhann/Balnagown], whose sons became 'Mr Donl du Rois & Mr Dul Kilmore' [Dòmhnall Dubh Rois and Dùghall Cille Mhoire].
