Scope and Contents Account of a journey through Am Muile/Isle of Mull in which Carmichael describes being in the company of a geologist from London, and the views down the mountain track to Loch Scridain and Loch Ba, and observing a large cairn 'evidently the result of funerals' and a very yellow frog near the summit. He describes the view to loch Ba as 'glorious in the bright sun after the rain the grass sparkline in the sun and every rill laughed gach caochain sa ghleann ri gaire.'
