Scope and Contents One INTVEE had grown up in Pitt Street and lived in Lapicide Place, would like to return to Leith primarily because of the shops. She probably has better neighbours in Muirhouse but dislikes the balcony layout, preferring stair layout because it allows more privacy. The stairs themselves in Leith were dark but once you were in your own house you were all right. No decent walls in the new houses, can hear everything. She is pregnant and says she was very upset at first by the pregnancy because it was much earlier than planned, the worst was telling her mother who has put her foot down and said this will be the last.
