"This man is a simpleton but is able to work for a coal firm. A brother, queer, drinks a lot, had a foot amputated. [Male informant] - this man has a perpetual itch. "Decent, silly crater, nothing in him." Can be very hot tempered. Dr confirms that this man is quite MD; has eczema and is deaf. Quite a hard worker but people won't work with him because of his skin condition."
