Scope and Contents

Mackinnon appears to have compiled his own catalogue of Gaelic manuscripts contained in Advocates' Library in Edinburgh. This first part of the notebook contains his observations.


In the reverse and inverted side, Mackinnon has made notes in both English and Gaelic about authors and their work, who appear in medieval Gaelic manuscripts.
