The last folios in MS 139, ff. 104r-109r, appear to be a shortened version of the early 14th-century document of canon law, the Constitutiones Clementinae, the 'Clementine Constitutions' produced by Pope Clement V. Given the dating of MS 139 to the early 14th century, such quick dissemination of Clement V's text, evidenced by its presence in this manuscript perhaps attests to its immediate identifiction as an influential document of medieval canon law.
