Story, probably collected from Donald MacColl, brocair (fox hunter) Glencreran, Argyll [Earra Ghàidheal], about the daughter of [Cameron] of Lochiel, who was married to Campbell of Barcaldine and then married again but was determined her son, Cailean Rua [Cailean Ruadh or Colin Campbell], would have Barcaldine [Am Barra Calltainn, Earra Ghàidheal]. She achieved this by clearing several lands 'unmercifully'. Cailean Ruadh was shot because he was hard on his tenants. When Lochiel's daughter died...
