Scope and Contents This volume contains Sir Philip Sidney's Astrophel and Stella. It was written for or by Sir Edward Dymoke, who met and exchanged verses with William Fowler in Padua in 1591 or 1952. The manuscript may have come to William Drummond through this association of his uncle. It is wanting all bewtween sonnet and song ix.
