Appears to have had frequent depressions when at home - used to lie in bed, would not work. Has a strong religious streak. Still having treatment by injection for anaemia. He heard that his nephew had been killed in action - this preciptitated a depression; it did not last very long but he was violent and "outrageous" for...

Scope and Contents "This woman suffers from asthma, her breathing is always very laboured, gets very depressed about it. She is a widow, lives alone, has no family. Her house is too big for her and she is unable to look after it or herself properly, but the neighbours help. She has tried to have people to stay with her but does not get on well with them. Dr says this woman is senile. She has had carcinoma and now has a bad heart. Is lonely and very sorry for herself."
