Papers of Cecil Polhill (1860-1938) and Arthur Polhill (1863-1935)
Papers of Colin Forrester-Paton (1918-2004) and Jean Forrester-Paton (1917-1998)
The collection consists of: items relating to the Church in Ghana including the role of the Church of Scotland Mission, the Presbyterian Church and the Christian Council and in particular to the Church's relation to society and government on issues such as education, marriage and Ghanaian traditions; papers on Church Union; material relating to the Christian Council of Ghana's Committee on Christian Marriage and Family Life; and Ghanaian newspapers.
Papers of Duncan Forrester (b. 1933)
Papers of E. M. T. Epelle (d. 1973)
Papers of Edward McKillop Young (1873-1942)
The collection consists of circa 1026 sides of Young's closely written commentary on the Bible, Christianity and God in modern society, with some reference to books read by him. The material is arranged as diary entries but there seem to be very few personal references apart from December 1941 when Japanese occupation of the area in which Young was living is mentioned. The material begins with page 833 and is obviously only part of a larger collection of notes.
Papers of Ernest Forrester-Paton (1891-1970)
The collection consists of papers, reports and other material relating to the arrest of Forrester Paton in 1932; pamphlets, articles and printed items about Forrester Paton, Jesudason and the Ashram (1920s-1980s); letters to Forrester Paton's family before and after his death (1969-1992); and photographs of Forrester Paton, Jesudason and the Ashram (from c 1915).
