Letter to James Cossar Ewart from William Bernhard Tegetmeier, 19 August 1896

 Item
Identifier: Coll-14/9/2/12
Scope and Contents Tegetmeier thanks Ewart for his article on zebra mule hybrids. He also asks Ewart for a photograph of the hybrid for publication (in The Field newspaper, which Tegetmeier edits) and congratulates Ewart on his 'satisfactory experiment both from a scientific and economic point of view.' Tegetmeier states that he regards the zebra mule as being of great importance as all the other Burchell zebra hybrids he has seen were hinnies or jennets.
