Letter to Sir Archibald Geikie from Sir William Fletcher Barrett concerning an article in the journal Nature. Barrett reports that Nature has devoted space to ridiculing a trade dowser, and is concerned that, due to a former disagreement, the editor will try to link the dowser story to his book, and thus discredit his work. He asks Geikie to write to Nature protesting that they had wasted space on the dowser story.
