Note: Pencil inscription: '"near St Monance, Fifeshire" but very like the Ayr one opposite' ie drawings Coll-10/5/40(i) and Coll-10/5/40(ii). Image derived from Clerk of Eldin etching B83 (Bertram (2012)), engraved by Robertson for the Edinburgh Magazine November 1803 where the misidentification with Fife is made. This item differs in composition and figures.
