Note about Rockall [Sgeir Rocail] which gives its distances from Barra [Barraigh] and North Uist [Uibhist a Tuath] and its dimensions. Also states that Rockall was given up as a fishing ground as it was difficult to find.

Note collected from Mr Archie Macrae [Archibald MacRae], that there are 'Roots and moss at Pairc na h-Aoi Northton Harris at low water' which MacRae had seen himself that summer.

Note collected from Mary MacMillan, Lionacuidhe/Liniquie, Uibhist a Deas/South Uist about Sgeir na h-iollan stating that it is below Balemore Iocar [Ìochdar] and that the top half of it can be seen at half tide. 'The àth and corn yard are quite visible. A deep caolas with most rapid tide.' The text has been scored through in ink as if transcribed elsewhere.

Also mentioned is the 'fine large garden [of] good soil but ill cultivated' which leads on to a description of the land quality on the island, the presence of lazybeds and the 'Beautiful grazing...espe[cially] at Aoi Paible and Rà good water' [Uidh, Paibeil and Raah].
